Laure Aurelian PhD

She is a Professor of Pharmacology and Microbiology and Immunology, a member of the Greenebaum Cancer Center and Neuroscience Program and a Founding member of the Center for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine and Senior Advisor for Faculty Development at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has made major significant contributions to science, focused on gene regulation and translational medicine but a more recent significant contribution to science has been in oncolytic virotherapy, an emerging cancer therapeutic approach with relatively modest clinical efficacy.
