Laura K. Stinson PharmD

Laura K. Stinson, PharmD is the Director of Clinical Operations for The Stinson Pen. With a background in community pharmacy and medical education, Laura is able to blend real-world healthcare experience into medical writing and support services covering a broad variety of topics.

Laura graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2002 after which she completed a Community Pharmacy Residency Program. Dr. Stinson’s practice experience includes a variety of community pharmacy settings and working as a Clinical Project Manager for accredited continuing education activities. Laura is able to translate her experience and training into developing needs assessments, educational presentations, monographs, patient education materials, and promotional materials targeted to multiple members of the healthcare team. 

Laura completed the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Program with the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2003 and has served as a community-based faculty member with the University of Kentucky. She is also a member of the American Pharmacists Association, the Bluegrass Pharmacists Association, and the American Medical Writers Association.
