Dr. Laura Elena Tepelus joined Occupational Health International in June 2011 and brings with her a wealth of specialist occupational healthcare knowledge and experience. Dr. Laura has held her DHA licenced Specialist Occupational Health Physician since 2005 and has gained more than 12 years of experience in Occupational Health and General Medicine Services in Europe and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Her areas of professional interests lie in occupational health services and include clinical and industrial toxicology, occupational health related local and International standards and regulations, occupational health medical auditing, vaccination and travel medicine plus preventive medicine and infection control.

As Head of Occupational Health and Travel Medicine Departments of Cedars, Jebel Ali International Hospital, for the past 7 years Dr. Laura was responsible for conducting and providing occupational health related services, travel medicine, preventive medical services and also general medical services to a number of prestigious local and international companies located not only in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Area, but also in Dubai and other companies throughout the United Arab Emirates.Dr. Laura started her medical education at the European accredited University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr. T Popa”, Iasi, Romania in 1993 and in 1999 she graduated as a medical doctor.
