Dr. Laura Black is a pediatric physiatrist and inpatient attending the Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit at Kennedy Krieger Institute. Her clinical interests include brain injury and neurorehabilitation.
Dr. Black received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and her medical degree from the University of Virginia. She completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency and pediatric rehabilitation medicine at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly known as the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) in Chicago, Illinois. She joined Kennedy Krieger in 2022.
Dr. Black is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.
