Laura Baehr PT, DPT, PhD

Laura A. Baehr, PT, DPT, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at Drexel University. Laura’s clinical and research expertise is focused on community-based physical activity promotion, particularly for individuals living and aging with chronic health conditions.

Baehr uses mixed methodology and community-engaged research practices to center lived experience perspectives in the assessment of evidence-informed interventions and implementation strategies. Laura is the Treasurer of the APTA Academy of Research Qualitative and Mixed Methods Special Interest Group and a member of the Academy of Geriatrics Academic Education Committee.
