Dr. Lau Jia Him, graduated from Manipal Academy Of Higher Education with Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery in year 1996. Started Clinical Radiology Training in University of Malaya Medical Centre in year 1999. Completed Clinical Radiology training after 4 years and awarded Master Degree of Radiology in year 2003. Following that, He did 2 years General Interventional Radiology Fellowship in Hospital Kuala Lumpur under Dr. Josephine Subramaniam and one year Neuro Interventional Radiology training under Dr. Gyula Gal in Uppsala University Hospital, Sweden. Started my career as house officer and medical officer in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan, Pahang. Had a short stint as clinical radiologist in Hospital Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban. Worked in Hospital Kuala Lumpur as Neuro and General Interventional Radiologist since 2007. Currently Head and Senior Consultant of Neuro and General Interventional Radiology services of Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Hospital Kuala Lumpur is currently the major centre for Neuro and General Interventional Radiology services of Ministry of Health Malaysia. We performed more than 5000 procedures annually, which included more than 100 neuro-interventional procedures.
