Laszlo Hangody MD, PhD, DSc

Professor Laszlo Hangody is an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon and member of the Hungarian Academy or Sciences. He is the head OT the Department or Traumatology in Semmelweis University as well as the head of the Orthopaedic and Trauma Department of LJzsoki Hospital, Budapest. His main research Tocuses are total knee replacement, ligament surgery, cartilage repair and he was the developer OT the mosaicplasty technique. He has served as an executive board member in several Hungarian and international scientific associations, and was a rounding member OT the International Cartilage Repair Society. He is an Honorary Member OT the Arthroscopy Association OT North America and his scientific contribution has been recognised by the Oscar Miller award as well as numerous Hungarian scientific recognitions. been selected as a FIFA Medical Centre OT Excellence and an ESSKA Teaching Center.
