Lars Dreesmann PhD

Lars Dreesmann is an Executive Director in Biopharma Bioprocess & Pharmaceutical Development at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH&Co.KG. As Head of Clinical Supply & Transfer, he is responsible for clinical supply of Drug Substance and Drug Product as well as tech transfer within BI’s global manufacturing network. At Boehringer Ingelheim, he started in Operations as a team leader within upstream manufacturing. Afterward he acted as director for Upstream Manufacturing (6x12kL), including a GMP/Compliance group. From 2013 to 2015 he was an Executive Director for Upstream Manufacturing and Tech Transfers within Operations Germany. He also lectured at several universities among others the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) in Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital. He has authored several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and holds two patents.
