Lars Andersson DDS, PhD

Dr Andersson underwent both undergraduate and research training at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare in 1981. PhD Thesis on experimental and clinical studies on replantation of avulsed teeth 1988. Dr Odont 1989, Docent at Karolinska Institute 1990. Visiting Professor at the University of Tennessee, USA 1992. In addition to his academic and research career, Dr Andersson achieved a wide clinical experience as a surgeon at Eastman Dental Institute in Stockholm 1981-1982, Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Västerås, Sweden 1982-2002 and Chairman of this Department 1992-2002.
