Lara Buscemi PhD

Dr. Lara Buscemi, Ph.D. is a Senior Scientist at the Lausanne University Hospital. Lara obtained a Pharmacy degree and Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Barcelona. She carried out postdoctoral training in neurosciences in North Dakota and in cellular and molecular biophysics at EPFL. Lara joined the Hirt Lab to work on neuroprotection after stroke in mouse stroke models. Lara has strong experience in microscopy.
