Lance Bridges is the Full Professor at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education, Fort Smith, Arkansas, United States. He has extensive experience in both scientific research and education. He has instructed students on a variety of levels and settings that range from high school students to Ph.D. candidates. He was awarded the Brody Teacher Recognition Award at East Carolina University by the medical class of 2017 and the Excellence in Medical Teaching Award by the class of 2018. He has been directly involved in active learning strategies such as Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Team-Based Learning (TBL), served on and chaired curriculum committees, appointed course director for various undergraduate and graduate-level courses, and contracted as an educational consultant by multiple non-profits. His research efforts entail the influence of vitamin metabolism in regulating the activity of a family of metalloproteases in immune processes.
