Laith H. Jamil, MD, is the associate director for Interventional Endoscopy at the Cedars-Sinai Center for Digestive Diseases. He is board-certified in gastroenterology. Dr. Jamil's primary clinical focus is on gastroenterology and interventional endoscopy. His research interests include disease of the pancreas, pancreatic cysts, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic management of post bariatric surgery complications and endoscopic mucosal resection of large polyps.
He has written articles on numerous subjects related to gastroenterology that have published in peer-reviewed publications such as American Journal of Gastroenterology, Gastroenterology, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy News, Hepatology, Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health and American Journal of Orthopsychiatry. Dr. Jamil is on the editorial board of the New Iraqi Journal of Medicine and a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.
