Ladan Pazhouhandeh BS, MBA

adan Pazhouhandeh is an Investment Officer with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private-sector investment arm of the World Bank. She is a core member of IFC’s Global Health team based in Paris, where she supports IFC’s business development efforts in Europe with health services, med-tech, and pharmaceutical companies. She originates, structures and executes transactions with European companies investing in emerging markets. Ladan has worked on various regions including Eastern Europe, Central Asia, North Africa and more recently Sub-Saharan Africa, and was previously based in Washington and Istanbul. Prior to joining IFC, Ladan was an analyst at Bear Stearns. Ladan joined IFC in 2008, first as an analyst in the workout department, and then as part of IFC’s Young Professional’s Program in the Global Manufacturing, Agribusiness & Services department. Ladan has an engineering degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business.
