Kyle Spradling, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Director of the UPMC Mercy Kidney Stone Clinic. He specializes in endourology, kidney stone disease, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Spradling earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, completed his Urology Residency at Stanford University in Stanford, CA, and completed a fellowship in Robotic Surgery and Endourology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD where he also served as clinical instructor for one year before joining UPMC.

Dr. Spradling’s areas of expertise include minimally invasive procedures for complex kidney stones, metabolic evaluation for kidney stone disease, and robotic and laparoscopic surgery with a particular focus on robotic-assisted reconstructive surgery of the urinary tract. He is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and Endourological Society and is board-eligible by the American Board of Urology. He is a published author of over 20 articles relating to endourology and kidney stone disease and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Endourology and other peer-reviewed journals.
