Kyle Hoath MBBS , FRANZCP

Dr. Kyle Hoath is a Consultant Psychiatrist whose main interests are General Adult Psychiatry, Psychotic Illnesses, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety, and Depression. He also holds a particular interest in managing the mental health of athletes. Kyle’s treatment philosophy is founded on collaborative and patient-centered care that is tailored to the particular needs of each patient. He also embraces advances in psychiatric treatment, particularly with the use of technology to help patients in their treatment journey.

Kyle uses a combination of both psychopharmacological and psychological treatments with his patients. He is also finalizing training to be an accredited provider of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), particularly helpful for patients with acute depressive illness, or who have proven resistant to antidepressant medication treatment, respectively.

Prior to joining the Marian Centre, Kyle was trained in the public sector at Rockingham General Hospital, Fremantle Hospital, and Fiona Stanley Hospital. In addition to his private practice at the Marian Centre, Kyle continues to work in the public sector as a Consultant Psychiatrist, currently at Peel and Rockingham Community Mental Health Services. A Graduate of The University of Western Australia, he trained with the West Australian branch of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and gained his Fellowship in 2018.
