Prof. Kurt Jonas Hugosson is a Professor in the Department of Urology, Institute of Clinical Sciences at Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. He received his medical degree from University of Gothenburg in 1981. His Specialist competency is in surgery and Urological surgery.
Prof. Hugosson’s past experience has been as a physician in Sahlgrenska Hospital and Östra hospital in the Department of Surgery, Urology and Anaesthesia. He has been an Invited lecturer at 62 occasions .
He is a part of several National and international assignments including SPCG (Scandinavian Prostate Cancer Group), NPCR (Nationella Prostata Cancer Reistret), ERSPC. (European Randomized Screening for Prostate cancer), ESOU (European Society of Oncological Urology) and ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncology) Guide line Group.
