Dr Kryssa Justine Agpoon is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specializing Orofacial Pain, TMJ Disorders, Sleep Apnea, Reconstructive surgery and Dental Implants Profile Dr. Kryssa Agpoon graduated from University of the East Manila. She went on to complete her training in; Oral Surgery at the University of The Philippines-Philippine General Hospital, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, Fellowship and Master’s degree at Korea University Medical Center and Korea University Graduate School in Seoul, South Korea, Orofacial Pain and TMJ disorder training at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Agpoon’s areas of expertise include dentoalveolar surgery, implant dentistry, oral pathology, oral and maxillofacial trauma, Orofacial pain and TMJ disorder, intravenous and general anesthesia. She is certified in the U.S.A. to administer general anesthesia and has her certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. She has received training in dental emergency medicine and is practiced in handling dental emergencies. Dr. Agpoon has published an article on British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery about Mandibular stability using sliding or conventional four-hole plates for fixation after bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy for mandibular setback. She has also presented various researches on TMJ disorders locally and abroad.
