Kristof Vandekerckhove MD

Dr. Kristof Vandekerckhove studied medicine at UGent and was trained as a pediatrician at UZ Gent.

He did intensive care fellowships in ULB Brussels (HUDERF) and London (Royal Brompton Hospital) and pediatric cardiology fellowships in London (Royal Brompton Hospital) and Leiden (LUMC).

He was recognized as a pediatric intensivist in 2003 and as a pediatric cardiologist in 2005. Since 2008, he has been a permanent member of staff at the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at UZ Gent.

In 2011, Dr. Vandekerckhove was recognized as a rehabilitation doctor in cardiac rehabilitation.
