Kristin Wannerberger MSc, PhD

Kristin joined Ferring in 2000 as Associate Director at our Malmö site in Sweden. She has since held various positions at IPC Copenhagen, Denmark and since 2006 in FICSA Saint-Prex, Switzerland starting as Global Project Director. Since 2016 Kristin holds the position of Director of R&D Alliance Management – now within our External Innovation & Scientific Licensing team. Kristin serves as our internal expert on the Microbiome but is also directing ongoing alliances targeting GI and RMMH in the microbiome field. Collaborations are ongoing with Karolinska Institutet (CTMR) where the focus is to understand the role of the microbiome in health and disease. Kristin is also responsible for Alliances in the clinical phase run together with Intralytix (US) and the Eliava Foundation (Georgia)

Prior to joining Ferring, Kristin gained experience as Research Scientist at AstraZeneca.

Kristin obtained her MSc in Chemical Engineering, Food and Dairy Technology, and her Ph.D. in Biophysical Technology from Lund University.
