Kristin J. Henderson CRNA, MSN

Kristin graduated with her nursing degree from Liberty University in 2005, and she is currently studying toward her DNAP degree. Before entering the field of nurse anesthesia, she worked as a CCRN-CSC in cardiothoracic intensive care. A graduate of the nurse anesthesia program at Wake Forest, she spent 6 years in the Brenner Children’s Hospital as a pediatric anesthesia specialist.
She has also maintained experience with adult anesthesia by working at Wake Forest's Davie Hospital. She has served as a didactic instructor, clinical instructor, instructor in the H3A program, and member of the admissions committee. She is one of our primary simulation instructors, which builds upon her capstone research into the use of multi-disciplinary simulation as an educational modality.
