Kristen M. Childress DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC, CWCN-AP

Kristen Childress DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC, CWCN-AP. She also was part of the second DNP cohort at the UW. She subsequently became board certified as an Advanced Practice Certified Wound Care Nurse through the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board. She have worked in many different settings, including geriatrics/internal medicine, wound care, dialysis rounding, home care, and urgent care/emergency medicine. I participate in global health and international community development opportunities whenever possible.

She currently operate her own clinical practice, where She contract with a large organization to provide outpatient wound care. She also supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments at the center. She have been a Faculty Clinical Adviser at the UW since 2010, and She enjoy teaching many of the core clinical courses included in the DNP-FNP program.
