Konstantinos Mylonas MD, PhD

Dr. Konstantinos S. Mylonas is a Resident at Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center. He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as Valedictorian of his medical school class. Dr. Mylonas completed his academic core General Surgery residency training at Athens Medical School. His PhD research explored the impact of Krüppel-like factors in the development of atheromatosis and aortic aneurysms.

Dr. Mylonas completed his postdoctoral work at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School where he performed outcomes research in Thoracic and General Pediatric Surgery whilst training in Applied Biostatistics. He is interested in Congenital Cardiac Surgery and Heart Transplantation.
