Koketso Seipelo P. Mogwera MSc, PhD

Koketso holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Her research focus was on the membrane permeability and transport studies of Coenzyme A, its intermediates, and antimetabolites. She went on to join H3D at the University of Cape Town where she is involved in the target-based discovery of novel antimalarial agents. She received a TWAS-DFG cooperation visit award to visit the JB Lab at FMP. Her work in the JB lab focuses on DNA labeling strategies. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and running and she is an avid performing arts enthusiast.
