Koenraad Van Landuyt MD, PhD

Prof. dr. Dr.Koenraad Van Landuyt graduated in 1985 as a doctor in medicine, surgery and obstetrics at the University of Ghent, where he then specialized in general surgery under the direction of Prof. dr. Dr. Frits Derom. Before his plastic surgery course under supervision of Prof. dr. Dr. Guido Matton started at UZ Gent, he also did an internship as resident plastic surgery in the Dijkzigt Hospital in Rotterdam (Prof. Dr. JCH Van der Meulen) and at the Medical College in Hannover (Prof. Dr. A.Berger).

In 1994 he obtained the diploma of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon, and was thus ratified as "Fellow of the Collegium Surgical Plasticum". Since then he has been part of the permanent staff of the Department of Plastic Surgery at UZ Gent under the supervision of a Deputy Clinic Head. Prof. dr. Dr. Stan Monstrey. Dr. Van Landuyt is also active as a plastic surgeon at the Stedelijk Hospital in Aalst
