Dr. P. Ebmeier After completing my M.D. and my specialist training I went to Edinburgh in 1989 as a Clinical Scientist and Consultant at the MRC Brain Metabolism Unit, where I helped set up the SPECT scanning facility to examine the pharmacology and in vivo brain activity of psychiatric disorders. I was appointed Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Edinburgh in 1997 and moved to Oxford in 2006. I am a Professorial Fellow of Linacre College, Oxford and Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh. I have published widely (h-index=60) and am on the Editorial Boards of Biological Psychiatry (U.S. Society of Biological Psychiatry), Psychopharmacology (Berlin, 2006-09), the International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology (Collegium Internationale Neuropsychopharmacologicum, CINP), and the Journal of Psychiatry & Neuroscience (Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology, CCNP).
