Klaus D. Mathias MD

Prof. Klaus Mathias is an interventional radiologist and neuroradiologist. His main interest is interventional therapy of supra-aortic artery disease, acute stroke management, EVAR, TEVAR, and PAD. He has performed the first angioplasties of carotid stenosis, subclavian occlusion, and renal artery stenosis in a kidney graft in the late 70s. He published > 250 scientific articles. He works as a consultant in the Dpt. of Clinical and Interventional Angiology.
