Kismet Rasmusson DNP, FNP-BC, CHFN, FAHA

Kismet Rasmusson is a nurse practitioner who has worked with Intermountain Healthcare as a Heart Failure Specialist since 2000. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and has a new appointment within Intermountain as a Professor of Clinical Research. She also is a certified Heart Failure Nurse and is a Fellow of both the American Heart Association and the Heart Failure Society of America.

Kismet has worked in the advanced heart failure clinic and as a leader to promote process improvement for HF care across the Intermountain system for over 20 years. She has just accepted an invitation to join the editorial board of the Journal of Cardiac Failure. Kismet’s special interests include researching Peripartum Cardiomyopathy and discovering innovative ways to educate and engage patients with heart failure.
