Dr. Kirti Mehta MD, FRANZCR

Dr Kirti Mehta is a Breast radiologist. She works as a Consultant radiologist in Medical Imaging Department and in Breast Screen at St Vincent’s Hospital and with Imaging Associates Private Radiology group at Eastern Health Hospitals. After graduating in 1994 she completed her post graduate Radiology training and Masters in 1998 from Aurangabad University in India. She worked as a Lecturer in Radiology at Grant Medical College, Mumbai and as a Consultant Radiologist with special interest in Fetal Medicine at Mediscan Diagnostics in Chennai, India.

After moving to Melbourne in 2004, she re-did her Radiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2007. While training she soon discovered her interest and passion for Breast imaging and completed her breast imaging fellowship at St Vincent’s Breast Screen under the expert guidance of her Mentor Associate Professor Dr Jennifer Cawson. She went on to subspecialise in breast MRI reporting after short course training at American college of Radiology in Virginia and at Proscan Imaging in Cincinnati, USA.
