I’m very pleased and excited to be the BC Cancer Foundation’s guest blogger for the month of December. I am a Professional Practice Leader in Medical Physics at the BC Cancer Agency, Fraser Valley Centre and an Adjunct Professor at School of Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University.
I was born in small town called Chirimiri in Madhya Pradesh state of India, famous for coal fields and a beautiful hill station. After completing high school, I moved to Punjab state where I did my under graduate degree and PhD in Bio Physics with the Department of Bio Physics and Center of Advanced Studies in Physics from Punjab University Chandigarh India. I did my postgraduate studies in Medical Physics at Bhabha Atomic Research Center and Bombay University in India.
