Kirk Minkus, MD, an expert in interventional radiology, specializes in peripheral arterial disease and venous diseases and has extensive experience performing minimally invasive procedures. His medical practice in Mesa and Gilbert, Arizona, provides holistic care with a team of board-certified internists, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and interventional radiologists. Dr. Minkus completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and continued his education with graduate work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. From there, he entered a combined medical and clinical research program at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, graduating with an MD and Master of Science degree.

He continued his training at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, Ohio, where he received training in interventional radiology and completed his radiology residency. After finishing a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Rush University Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Minkus relocated to Arizona, where he continued to pursue his medical specialties with advanced postgraduate training.

He earned certification in interventional pain, anesthetics, and peripheral arterial disease procedures. He’s licensed to practice medicine in seven states and holds dual board certification in vascular and interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology.
