Dr. Jensen is Chief Innovation Officer for EmCare, and also acts as Chief Medical Officer for BestPractices, Inc. Dr. Jensen has spent more than 30 years in emergency medicine management and clinical care. He has been involved in coaching or consulting with over 300 hospitals nationwide, developing some of the most innovative and creative solutions available in emergency medicine.
As a faculty member of the American College of Emergency Physician’s management academy, The Studer Group, and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and as a writer and presenter for HealthLeaders Media, Dr. Jensen shares expertise on patient safety, patient flow, operational strategies, error reduction, and change management.
Dr. Jensen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in biology and a Medical Degree from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He completed an Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Chicago.
