Kiranbir Josan MD

Dr. Kiranbir Josan, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where she practices in the Department of Cardiology within the Smidt Heart Institute and is involved in both clinical care and cardiovascular disease prevention.

Dr. Josan earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Western Ontario and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Alberta. She further advanced her training with a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of British Columbia, preparing her for specialized practice in heart disease detection and management.

With a focus on noninvasive cardiology, Dr. Josan uses diagnostic tools and external testing to assess heart health, guide treatment decisions, and identify patients at risk for cardiovascular conditions. She emphasizes primary and preventive cardiology, working closely with patients to reduce risk factors and improve long-term cardiovascular outcomes.

Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, she was affiliated with Stanford University Health System, where she also completed a Biodesign fellowship and helped develop CardioClick, a telehealth-based cardiovascular disease prevention program to enhance patient engagement and improve cardiometabolic health.
