Kiran More MBBS, MD, FRACP, AFRACMA, MRCPCH

Dr. Kiran More currently working as an Attending Physician in the division of Neonatology, SIDRA Medicine, Qatar for the last four and half years. He is leading the establishment of the Cardiac NICU at SIDRA Medicine with a special interest in Neonatal Hemodynamics. He is a mentor and trainer for Qatar Neonatal Cardiac Hemodynamics and Echocardiography (Q-NICHE) training program at SIDRA. He is also a part neonatal ECMO team and lead coordinator for ECMO education. Dr. More holds an academic position as an Assistance Professor at Weill Cornell University, Qatar. He is a member of “The Clinical Competency Committee of Neonatal Fellows in SIDRA and also a supervisor for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). He is a SIMULATION Instructor and also NRP/ NALS, STABLE instructor.

Kiran has been a teaching faculty for Neonatal Echocardiography training under CCPU courses conducted by the Australian Society of Ultrasound Medicine and also at a few neonatology conferences/workshops across India. He has delivered more than 25 talks at various national and international conferences. Dr. More also holds a President position for the Indian association of doctors and nurses in Qatar named INSPIRE and works for academics, social well-being, and carrier growth for doctors and nurses. Prior to joining SIDRA, Dr. More was working as a Consultant Neonatologist and Director of Newborn Transport at Christchurch Women’s Hospital, New Zealand for about 3 and half years. This was an academic position with affiliation to the University of Otago as Clinical Senior Lecturer.

Dr. More has done Pediatric specialization (MD) in India and completed additional training in Pediatrics with advanced training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine by working at different centers across Australia and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Dr. More underwent a fellowship Neonatal-Perinatal medicine and also targeted neonatal echocardiography (TnECHO) fellowship at Hospital for Sick Children through formal training along with pediatric cardiology.

Dr More has completed structured research training in Clinical epidemiology, clinical trials, grant writing, and biostatistics under a Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program (GCSRT) at Harvard Medical school, Boston, USA. Dr. More has a strong interest in neonatal hemodynamics, respiratory, NEC, Developmental follow-up, and neuro-critical care and has numerous international publications and a couple of book chapters in this field. He is a reviewer for various reputed international journals and also an editor for the National Neonatology forum Journal of India.
