Kimberly Ann Chun MD

Dr. Kimberly Ann Chun is a Bay Area native and is so honored to be able to serve the East Bay community. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego, medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University, and dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego. Prior to my dermatology residency, she completed a medicine internship at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara. Kaiser’s philosophy of focusing on preventative medicine and caring for the person as a whole really resonated with me. In fact, this is what drew me back to Kaiser Permanente; she believes in focusing on patient-centered care, treating the whole individual, and fostering our doctor-patient relationship.

Many people asked her why she chose dermatology. She loves being a dermatologist because she is able to care for patients of all ages and of all different skin types. Most of all, she enjoys being able to witness the boost in self-confidence that comes with accurate diagnosis and treatment of various skin diseases. She looks forward to working with you as your dermatologist to achieve healthy skin.
