Kimberly A. Buss MD, MPH

Kimberly Buss has been a family doctor with Sutter Health since 1999. She attended medical school and residency at UC Davis in Sacramento after receiving her MPH from the University of California, Berkeley. Besides running a busy family practice for many years, she later started and worked in a diabetes clinic for complex type 2 diabetes patients and became the Medical Director for the Telephonic Disease Management for Sutter Health.

Dr. Buss oversees a team of pharmacists, nurses, dieticians, and coaches and directs a disease management program for patients with heart failure, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and asthma in the Sutter Population Health Service. Currently, she is a medical director in the Sutter Population Health Service and is helping lead the care pathway strategy for Sutter Health. She is also pursuing a graduate certificate in Population Health Management from Thomas Jefferson University.
