Kieran Slevin MD

Dr. Slevin is the Medical Director and co-Founder of North American Spine & Pain Consultants. He was previously in an academic Pain Medicine practice at the University of Pennsylvania for 10 years, where he was Director of Interventional & acute pain services and oversaw fellowship training and education. He received his medical education in Dublin, Ireland at University College, where he trained in Internal Medicine before pursuing additional training at the University of Pennsylvania in Interventional Pain Medicine.

His practice interests include treatment of acute and chronic pain of spinal origin and he has extensive training and experience on emerging techniques in minimally invasive spine procedures. Involved nationally and internationally in many pain and spine societies, Dr. Slevin works to advance the field of pain and spine medicine and holds national committee appointments with the AMA (American Medical Association), ISIS (International Spine Intervention Society) as well as the ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists). He lectures regularly on pain and interventional spine topics at academic meetings in South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia and has published over 20 scientific articles relating to pain and spine.
