Dr. Khuloud Bin Rafeea is the Acting Deputy Manager of Pharmacy at Tawam Hospital, and is Senior Clinical Pharmacist as well. She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2006 from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. She then completed her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) in 2011 from Purdue University, Indiana, USA. Currently, Dr. Khuloud is the Supervisor of the Clinical Section in Tawam Hospital and serving as the infectious diseases clinical pharmacist.

In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Khuloud is greatly involved in education. In her current role, she oversees education and training, as she is chairing SEHA Pharmacy Education Subcommittee. She is the clinical coordinator of the Pharm.D. program in UAE University and is an adjunct lecturer as well. Dr. Bin Rafeea has spoken in number of national and regional conferences in the area of infectious diseases. Her areas of interest include antimicrobial stewardship and management of HIV. Dr. Khuloud is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP).
