Khiree T. Smith JD

Khiree Smith assists private equity investors, venture capital and emerging growth companies, as well as institutional investors and private fund managers, with business matters, including formation, debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic joint ventures, technology arrangements and general corporate matters. He advises clients in connection with the negotiation and preparation of partnership agreements, LLCs and joint ventures.

While in law school, Khiree participated in the Georgetown Law & Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship & Economic Development practicums, where he advised a startup alternative energy company on formation, as well as debt, equity and alternative financing. Additionally, Khiree was a legal fellow with Impact Strategies, where he performed legal research related to political advocacy, advised corporate clients on best practices for improving diversity, contributed to a national political advancement strategy for diverse populations and drafted talking points for televised commentary and speaking engagements. He is an international public speaker and strategic trainer, having delivered keynote addresses and trainings in over 40 states, four countries and three continents.
