Khatuna Gurgenashvili MD

Khatuna Gurgenashvili, MD is a general neurologist. She completed her internal medicine training at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia and neurology training from Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. Gurgenashvili started working at PNSI in 2011. She was a member of parkway family until 2016 when she left the practice temporarily to pursue a neurophysiology fellowship at Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center. During these years at Parkway she has treated many patients in the community. After finishing her fellowship, Dr. Gurgenashvili decided to return to PNSI to provide general neurology services with additional expertise in the field of neuromuscular medicine and epilepsy. She is affiliated with Penn State Hershey Medical Center where she stayed as a part-time faculty.

Dr. Gurgenashvili is a board certified in general neurology. She sees patients with wide variety of neurological problems such as Epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, headaches; sleep disorders, cerebrovascular disorders, multiple sclerosis and pain. She is an associate member of the American academy of neurology and an active member of American Clinical Neurophysiology society, American epilepsy society, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
