Khalil M. Afsh MD, FACP

Dr. Khalil Afsh is one of the founders of Jacksonville Clinic. He graduated medical school from the American University of Beirut. At the State University of New York, Syracuse, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine then moved on to finish his clinical fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Afsh currently serves as the Director of Internal Medicine and Primary Care. He is also the Director of the Research department.

Dr. Afsh came to Florida in 1996 where he started his career and founded and operated one of the most unique and largest outpatient healthcare centers in North Florida. He was the leading physician and President/ CEO of Premier Medical Clinic, a multispecialty medical practice in Perry, Florida. During that time, he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Florida State University where his medical center was a teaching site for medical students and residents. Dr. Afsh also served as the Chairman and CEO of a regional pharmaceutical company as well as a clinical research organization.
