Khalid Amer MD, MBBS, FRCS

Khalid Amer is a Consultant of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. He received his medical degree at the University of Khartoum. He left heart surgery to specialize in lung and chest surgery. He has a special interest in minimal access thoracic surgery (VATS) for lung cancer (lobectomy), thymectomy for myasthenia, mediastinal cysts and mediastinal tumours.
