Kevin G. O'brien

Kevin O’Brien studied engineering at Northwestern University and business management at UCLA. During his career in the States he was awarded more than 60 patents related to the design of roller coasters, airplanes, and other mechanical devices. He later built and sold his own technology company, and served as an executive for a large security company, before moving his family to Asia at the age of 40. Over the past eight years he has worked to create financially sustainable facilities in Cambodia and Laos, including two hospitals, eight medical centers, a nursing school, a farm and a sports center. He currently serves as the Country Director of The Handa Foundation.
