Dr. Kevin Ching is an Assistant Attending with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell's Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice and an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics with Weill Cornell Medical College. Born and raised in the New York metropolitan area, Dr. Ching received his B.S. from Lehigh University and his medical degree from MCP/Hahnemann University (Drexel) College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell, and his Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at New York University-Bellvue, where he also served as an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. From 2007-2010, Dr. Ching was an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Yale University.

Dr. Ching's research focuses on developing pediatric teaching models involving the use of simulation. He is a co-director of an annual multi-institutional, multidisciplinary conference using simulation models to introduce, review and practice teamwork, crisis resource management and trauma procedural skills, and has lectured internationally in this area.

Dr. Ching has a long commitment to community service. He is a founder and long-time Board member of the Cammy Lee Leukemia Foundation and former recipient of the National Health Policy Fellowship (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) and Do Something National Community Service Leadership Award.
