Kevin Bateman MSc, PhD

Dr. Bateman is currently Scientific Associate Vice President and the Scientific Lead for Bioanalysis in the Department of Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Drug Metabolism at Merck & Co. where he has worked for over 21 years. He is the co-founder of the Merck Smart Trials initiative aimed at enabling a more patient-centric clinical trial approach. A major focus of his research is on developing and implementing patient-centric sample collection technologies to enable remote studies.
