Dr. Kerstin M. Palombaro, PT, PhD, CAPS, is a licensed physical therapist, educator, researcher, and academic leader dedicated to advancing health professions education and improving the health and well-being of older adults. She serves as Program Director for the PhD in Health Professions Education program at Widener University, where she mentors doctoral students in the development of innovative research, teaching strategies, and educational programs that advance healthcare practice and scholarship.

Dr. Palombaro earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University, her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Therapy from Temple University. Her clinical practice focuses on holistic, lifestyle medicine interventions for community-dwelling older adults, with particular expertise in osteoporosis, frailty, and chronic pain management. She is BoneFit certified through Osteoporosis Canada and is certified in the LSVT BIG® program, specializing in rehabilitation strategies for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.
