Kerry is Alopecia UK’s Psychological Wellbeing Lead. Kerry has worked with Alopecia UK on a number of projects over the last six years and has been a member of the staff team since 2018. Kerry lives in Sheffield with her two daughters. Kerry enjoys woodland walks and being active.
Before Alopecia UK, Kerry worked in mental health for over 15 years. Kerry worked in the NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Service as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner for 10 years before coming to work for Alopecia UK. As well as her clinical work, Kerry completed her Ph.D. in 2017 which focused on the psychological impact of skin conditions (including alopecia) and interventions to support people and improve well-being. Kerry is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and has spoken about her research internationally.
