Kerri Anne Carter is the Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at Children's Hospital of Richmond, Virginia, United States. She grew up in Massachusetts and has been living in Virginia since college. She attended the College of William and Mary as an undergrad and completed her medical training at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She went on to complete a residency in Pediatrics and fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology both at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond and then took a faculty position here at CHoR and has been a proud member of the Children’s Hospital Foundation Heart Center Team since its inception in 2014. Her current charge is building the Heart Failure and Transplant program alongside our pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Tom Yeh, and our new division chief, Dr. Jin Lee. she has been honored to be named amongst the “Top Docs” by Richmond Magazine the last three years and received the award for best bedside manner by OurHealth Magazine in 2018.
