Since 2017, Kenneth Kwek has been privileged to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore General Hospital (SGH). SGH, with its rich heritage dating back to 1821, celebrated its bicentenary in 2021. Leading a dedicated team at SGH, he has been steadfast in providing advanced clinical care to approximately 1 million Singaporeans annually, earning international recognition as one of the world's premier hospitals.

Prior to his tenure as CEO of SGH, he had the honour of leading KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, a cornerstone of Singapore’s healthcare landscape dedicated to women’s and children’s health. His expertise lies in obstetrics, particularly in Maternal Fetal Medicine, focusing on high-risk pregnancies, including preterm labour, cervical incompetence, pre-eclampsia, and postpartum haemorrhage.

Kwek's unwavering passion is rooted in enhancing patient care quality through process re-engineering, innovation, and technology. He is committed to leveraging these tools to enhance the safety and reliability of clinical care and patient outcomes. In July 2017, he assumed the role of Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer (Organizational Transformation & Informatics) at SingHealth. Subsequently, in February 2024, his role evolved to Deputy Group CEO (Digital Health), highlighting the pivotal role of digital transformation as a primary enabler in the healthcare journey.
