Kenneth D. Herbst MD, FACP

Dr. Herbst is an Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. Dr. Herbst serves as the company’s Chief Medical Officer. At UCSD he developed Comprehensive Clinical Centers for both Hemophilia and Sickle Cell Diseases. He is the former Deputy Surgeon General of the Army for Reserve Affairs. He planned, developed, and completed the reorganization of 28,000 Army Reserve Soldiers under a single command, the Army Reserve Medical Command, and was its first commander. He has been a medical and science advisor to multiple pharmaceutical and medical entities. He is President and CEO of Global Health Consultants, Inc.
