Kenneth Helmer, MD, FACS, received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas and attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his general surgery internship and residency in general surgery, along with his Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston

Dr. Helmer is board certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery-Surgical Critical Care. Kenneth Helmer, MD, is a specialist in trauma surgery with a sub-specialty in surgical critical care. He received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas, attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas, where he also completed his internship & residency in general surgery along with his Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care. Dr. Helmer is board certified by the American Board of Surgery-Surgical Critical Care.
